OVS provides a 3M single bulb seal placed around the bed rails and bulkhead, plus a bulb seal for the tailgate. Two pieces of butyl tape are included for bulkhead sealing. Some minimal water intrusion may occur around the tailgate perimeter.
Does the Expedition Truck Cap come with a crossbar system?
An optional OVS cross-bar system mounts to the included rails. Dynamic capacity 325 lbs, static 750 lbs, ~2” rise above the cap.
What is the load-carrying weight limit?
Dynamic 350 lbs, static 750 lbs with OVS crossbars.
Are the roof rails compatible with aftermarket crossbars?
Yes, with 19mm slot. Tested compatible with Yakima HD Crossbars (#8001156), Landing Pads (#8000221), and Skyline Towers (#8000163).
